Looks like that property might be going up for sale again...I watched the webcam on Sunday but didn't see a service.

I gave up around eleven...ish, had a fire to tend. There is so much to burn here in New England after that devastating December ice storm. Kind of looks like a tornado went through...

HI Chris,

The cam which shows a bit of your front lawn and trees and plants is my favorite! I've been trying to locate it on google maps to no avail as of yet! I understand for security purposes why you probably won't give the address...
It's beautiful anyway!
My husband and I are thinking of moving to Florida, and I really like the Cape Coral area, not interested in tourist areas but quiet areas that are not expensive..which is probably a tall order! Thank you for the time you take for this site. Take care,

mjwb

Is it always windy for most of the time there in Cape Coral? Everytime I look at the cams..it is always windy. It must relieve the heat some, doesn't it?

Hi Marsha,
Yes, lately it has been quite breezy with the amount cold fronts rolling through SWFla. In the summer it does help to cool things off a little bit being so close to the shore. During the cooler months, with the wind blowing, it can be pretty chilly for us locals. Wink

Excellent points!! This is the month I let the lawn just grow... Daily rain isnt nearly as common. Allowing it to grow, to the point of self seeding, at least once a year keep it healthy! And, helps keep it thick through the dryer, winter months...

Actually, during our last big rain event, I timed my fertilization perfectly and blasted Lesco Professional turf fertilizer (28-10-12) about an hour before the rain came down. Once the fertilizer started to work I let the lawn grow fairly high to help retain the moisture and not allow the soil to dry out. I see to many floratam lawns that are cut to low during dry season which causes them to dry and burn up. Thanks for the compliments on the lawn and you may catch me on the mower soon...it's getting a little high right now! Very Happy

Do you do landscape or just your lawn. I am at S E 31st Terrace and my lawn is a mess. I've been looking for a new lawn guy,but I wanted someone who knows what they are doing. I click on your webcam to remind me that there is still hope for my lawn. Nice Job with it.
