Matlacha and P.I. Sound Fri and Tues

Headed out of Pineland launch on Fri looking for some tailers on the low tide, I was off that day so I didn't get one but my friend ended up with 3 to 29". We also got into some small tarpon and decent snook but nothing too picture worthy. This morning I headed up into Matlacha by myself checking out a few spots for an upcoming kayak tournament, I managed a 23" trout, 27" red, and a 31" snook totaling an 81" slam, I also got into a school of several nice snapper but didn't take any pictures of them. It looks like I may know where I'll be fishing for the tournament.

It was an outgoing tide, it didn't get as low as the models were forecasting though.
