Say adios to Gamma...............Not only is it getting sheared but it's very slow movement will allow a noreaster forming off Jacksonville to whip a cold front down and squeeze the T/S even further South and after crossing Cuba it will fall apart and hand off it's energy to the Northern low. Still going to be murky around here for next couple of days but nothing to write home about............Tropical season is NOW OVER.................Mid winter cold will invade our area this week with temps in the 60's by day and 40's at night.....more in overview....

Florida is out harms way, Nice! The NHC put the track over Cuba shifting Gamma into the Atlantic by Monday. Kind of the same scenario like Wilma when it decided to take that quick NE turn. If Gamma would have made its way to the north of the Yucatan we couldve felt some affects. But since it stalled so far south made the possibilities of a Florida hit less likely. I have to agree Jeff, I believe its over too. Even though the season officially ends at the end of this month I think it might be safe to take the boards off the windows and get the winter gear out! Exclamation
