In Rochester Hills in Oakland Co unty Michigan about 12-14 miles northwest of Detroit. Highs today near 100! Miss your cool July weather!
Bob Hazardous weather...

* the hottest stretch of this heat wave will impact Southeast
Michigan today. High temperatures are expected to climb into
the middle and upper 90s... potentially reaching 100 degrees
this afternoon.

* Very moist air will remain across Southeast Michigan allowing
for high humidity levels.

* The combination of high heat and humidity will cause heat index
values to climb to between 105 and 110 degrees... locally higher
for some locations in Metro Detroit and points south.

Same thing over here in Chicago! I saw 99 degrees yesterday afternoon but the humidity was only around 42% so it was bearable. Enjoy it while you can - you can almost see winter over the horizon. T...

I just left Cape Coral after 29 yrs there! Been here for a week and every day has been as warm or Hotter than Sw Fla. Does make one feel at home and helps ease the transition. Somehow someway in will get back to Florida but without winning the lottery will be here for a Michigan winter. UGH!

I'm home back in Cape Coral. The draw of living here for nearly 30 yrs was to much to overcome. While in michigan during the summer I got to see a Tiger game and visit my daughter and her new baby boy both on the ride up and ride back. Baby Ayden is now 5 months old! Absolutely love being back and will never leave Florida again. Ever!
