It looks like our 1st cold front will make it here in Southwest Florida!! Less humid and cooler temps! Have to love those North Winds! Would be nice to be able to turn off the a/c and open the windows!

SHORT TERM (TONIGHT-SUNDAY)...
HIGH AMPLITUDE U/L FLOW WITH A DEEP L/W TROUGH DIGGING OVER THE EASTERN U.S. WILL PUSH A COLD FRONT THROUGH WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA TONIGHT. MUCH COOLER DRIER AIR WILL ADVECT OVER THE REGION SATURDAY AND SUNDAY ON NORTHWEST WINDS AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS OVER THE AREA. IDEAL WEATHER FOR OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES THROUGH THE WEEKEND WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY. HIGHS WILL RUN IN THE UPPER 70S NORTH TO MID 80S SOUTH. OVERNIGHT LOWS BY SUNDAY MORNING WILL BE IN THE MID 40S NORTH...LOWER TO MID 50S CENTRAL...AND LOWER TO MID 60S SOUTH. OVERNIGHT MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WILL BE A CATEGORY OR TWO HIGHER NEAR THE COAST DUE TO THE RELATIVELY WARM GULF WATERS.

The cold front is over us now.. Should feel the cooler temps as the sun sets.. Even with the sun out, should feel a little cooler with there being less humidity. _________________ Todd
