AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 150 MILES EAST-SOUTHEAST OF
CAPE HATTERAS NORTH CAROLINA IS MOVING SLOWLY EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD.
ALTHOUGH THE ASSOCIATED SHOWER ACTIVITY IS NOT WELL-ORGANIZED AT
THIS TIME...THIS SYSTEM HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OVER THE
NEXT DAY OR SO.

good catch met-tv. That is now Invest 90L---east of Hatteras.

Should not develop as pattern not ripe along east coast until later next week. Look for Carribean system to be near S. Florida next weekend......that looks like best candidate close in..................as GULF storm...........

Agree, the shear is very nasty off the mid atlantic and even the 'Bam' models don't do anything with this system. I was surprised it was made an invest in the first place. I figured the title would go to the puppy off the African coast.

AGREED..........
i'm not counting that system because it's way the heck out there and statistically will recurve long before hitting US or get sucked into S. America.....(with appologies to Andrew.. Rolling Eyes

)...........But it looks pretty close now to being named...........
