Well I NEVER wanted to do this but I'm going to have to enforce rules on this board from here on out. I simply do not have the time to monitor this forum as much as I like and really don't feel that I should. This site was designed in A LOT of my spare time as a hobby and I still deal with technical issues to make Capeweather run as smoothly as possible. The forum was an added bonus that I felt would bring together people from all locations around SW Florida. Not only have the locals contributed quite a bit of information to the forum but we have people as far as the UK wanting to know how the weather is here. And I think that is fantastic! I really don't care where people are from as long as they are respectful to others on the board and make this place enjoyable for everybody. To much tension has risen lately and I would really like it to be over. If unregistered users were to read what was going on in here then they would never register and contribute an opinion or ask a question. I like seeing the community grow as much as you folks but with all the flame wars occuring it simply will not happen. Now I'm not saying you can't disagree.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion based on what they know or what they might see. But keep the conversation civil and try not to let the fit hit the shan like I constantly see on wunderground's forum. It's a nightmare on that board and I truly feel sorry for the Administrator. I hope this makes sense to EVERYBODY and you continue to have fun on here like I do. I'm locking this topic out and posting the rules. If anybody objects to them then please PM me so we can discuss.
