A pretty good circulation on the WV loop. With water temps so high, development should ocurr. I'd be nervous if I lived in Texas, or any of the other Gulf areas.

Ah, As I wake up each morning I wonder what is going to %#*& me meteorologically today. Well this morning it is a second wave near 68W which is moving quicker and competing with my sluggish wave at 75W. Even though the European has left my camp (pretty much) and I now have the Canadians evel tropical twin....the WRF seeing development, I have not abandoned ship yet. In fact, what may happen is wave # 2 catches wave #1 as the easterly trade winds have greatly diminished in the Western Caribean due to the pattern up North but they continue to push the second wave. They eventually consolidate energy and become a named storm in the Western Gulf during the upcoming week. Either way, not a big deal for Florida.......See African post!! _________________ No...I am not a tropical forecaster....But I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once
