The area to watch is near the Yucatan Channel. This is a prime development location which contains the loop current of very warm water and also is the low shear area at this point.

Invest 90 dropped from official status. Now refered to as the following from NHC at 10:30pm:
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE OVER THE WESTERN GULF OF MEXICO REMAIN DISORGANIZED.
HOWEVER...SOME DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM IS STILL POSSIBLE UNTIL
IT MOVES OVER LAND WITHIN THE NEXT DAY OR SO. _________________ Sit back, relax and enjoy the show!
FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...
A BROAD LOW PRESSURE AREA THAT IS CENTERED ABOUT 100 MILES EAST OF
THE LOWER TEXAS COAST IS PRODUCING DISORGANIZED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS APPEAR CONDUCIVE FOR SOME
DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM AS IT DRIFTS SLOWLY WESTWARD OVER THE
