While the NHC is keying on the developing surface Low near 13N which they have designated as 98L, I'm more interested in the northern portion of the wave near 18N. That northern portion of the wave should run into and merge with the Low near Belize and could be the mechanism to get the ball rolling. I'm not sure how the NHC would handle such a scenario but it's possible they would use another Invest designation for the Yucatan disturbance and leave 98L as a separate Invest. _________________ LOU
