When 90L reaches the NW Caribbean and joins up with the current disturbed area that's already located in that area we should see development and a possible threat to south Florida next week. Models vary in intensity from a weak TD to a Hurricane but most all the models do forecast development. Stay tuned....we may get our rain but not in the way we would like to get it.

do we have a day next week that this said disturbance will hity or play with Florida. I know long range isn't accurate but where do the experts see this slamming into if it does ?

No chance of predicting track, intensity, or actual development that far ahead with any degree of accuracy. If you were to take the average spread from what the models show it would be late in the week from southeast gulf to the Bahamas.

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
1130 AM EDT SAT OCT 27 2007

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

SATELLITE IMAGES AND SURFACE OBSERVATIONS INDICATE THAT THE AREA OF
LOW PRESSURE OVER THE CARIBBEAN SEA IS ON THE VERGE OF BECOMING A
TROPICAL DEPRESSION. THE LOW HAS BEEN MOVING SLOWLY TOWARD THE
SOUTHWEST AND IS NOW CENTERED HALFWAY BETWEEN HISPANIOLA AND ARUBA.
THIS SYSTEM IS ACCOMPANIED BY NUMEROUS SQUALLS WHICH ARE AFFECTING
MUCH OF THE EASTERN CARIBBEAN SEA AND ADJACENT ISLANDS...PRIMARILY
PUERTO RICO AND THE VIRGIN ISLANDS. THE LOW IS EXPECTED TO MOVE
SLOWLY TOWARD THE WEST-SOUTHWEST AND THEN WEST...AND ENVIRONMENTAL
CONDITIONS APPEAR TO BE SOMEWHAT FAVORABLE FOR A TROPICAL
DEPRESSION TO FORM WITHIN THE DAY OR SO...AS THE SYSTEM APPROACHES
THE WESTERN CARIBBEAN SEA. AN AIR FORCE PLANE WILL INVESTIGATE THE
AREA ON SUNDAY IF NECESSARY.
