Same here!! Hardly ever get to see Tropical storm in the light of day! Same goes for most violent weather. Always seems to hit under the cover of darkness.
What has been YOUR worst storm? Hurricane Charlie in 2004 was ours going back 44 yrs to Hurricane Donna in 1960.

Weird weather seems to be all around! Down here in SW Florida, we are experiening very unusual dry weather for the past several years. Normally, you could set your clock by the afternoon thunder storms which ocurred around 4-5 pm most days during the summer. Lately, our rainfall totals for the summer months are 50-75% below where they should be.
Again, stay safe. Hopefully this storm will blow on through your area with little damage.
