I know what you mean. Here is the latest from the city website. It does not really state much but it may be useful to others who are reading it. I am not exactly sure when the 'new' restrictions' will take place but if you think things are dry now, just wait. The entire state of Florida will be under a red-flag warning. Expect rain sometime in July. (Only 7 months from now)

I actually saw that fire burning when I was out in Captiva Pass. I thought something was burning in the Cape and am glad no homes were wrecked or burned down. It makes you wonder how it started on the mangrove side. Kids having a campfire that got out of control perhaps? _________________ Chris

Just incase anybody needs a free check on their irrigation system you can check this out on the city website. I was surprised to see the Cape actually providing something for "free". Amazing!
