I am really aggravated with these mini chilly spells here. I am hoping that for the rest of the year we get at least into the mid 80's for high's and for lows at leasts in the mid 60's. Bring on the heat !!!!!!!!!!!
Let's hope so. I do know from experience that when it's above 90 and the humidity is extreme it can feel like 100 outside. That is definitely not a time you want to be working in your attic. _________________ Chris

The one thing about SW Florida which is not reflected in the heat index is the ferocity of the sun during the summer. I had to run a project this afternoon and even on a very pleasant afternoon, I was sweating profusely in the direct sunshine. At high noon on just about any day in July, the sunshine here is absolutely brutal! At the same time, it's the sun that gets the seabreezes going and leads to all our wonderful afternoon thunderstorms.

I know to some of you I may sound sick but give me 95 degrees and humidity around 60 and I breathe better. Well this week seems to be a nice very warm week with upper 80's forecasted. Just waiting for that deep SE flow from the Atlantic to start pumping up dewpoints.

I agree, heat n humidity is the best!
Nothing more refreshing to see after a hot muggy day then to watch those huge gust fronts roll in.
The dry season is boring lol. The air makes me ill with fevers and flu, not to mention dry flakey skin.

It's about time I agree that things have heated up(maybe 6 degrees or so more and I will be absolutely in heaven). Still quiet on the storm's up here in TPA. I guess I will have to wait a bit longer for the storm season to kick in(like hopefully 2 or 3 weeks or so more). Anyway always feels good with tons of humidity. Dewpoints in the low to mid 70s here today. Throw another log onto the fire someone. The last 4 months its been one person or another with the flu/cold in my family of 5 here including the baby.
