I don't care if the recon plane broke down. There is -85C convective tops exploading around the CDO. Stevie Wonder could see this storm is now a Hurricane and may be headed for Cat 2 before landfall very late tonight. Some of the models are interesting as they move Katrina WSW to a position off Naples and then turn her North, paralleling the coast at 3 or 4 mph. If that were to happen over 93 degree water, we could experience Cat 2 conditions here on the Cape Sat night. I will look at this a bit more this morning before I commit to final intensity here. NHC better upgrade at 8AM or they are doing people on East Coast big disservice....................... Exclamation
