2.25 inches overnight. Not counting the current downpour that began at 8:45 am. Water everywhere, Frogs everywhere. _________________ This post is for discussion purposes only. Please refer to the National Hurricane Center for official information.

Add another 1.10 to the total from the rain this morning and it looks like we have another band rotating in from the gulf. Also see another band trying to come together to the west of the approaching band.

As of 2 pm another 0.95 inches. That brings the total since midnight to 4.25 inches. Just checked the radar and another band is forming offshore and moving this way. _________________ This post is for discussion purposes only. Please refer to the National Hurricane Center for official information.

Here's a very good radar loop. Much more rain on the way. Note the rotation on the radar echoes near Tampa. Also both the GFS and the Nam are showing a surface low to form off the west coast.

Interesting scenario developing Lou. I will be back home from my Miami trip between Thursday and Saturday. Any chance of seeing something named back up north out in my hometown waters ?

I wouldn't think so. TC development takes quite a long time and this should be moving north within 48 hours heading for the Panhandle. However it could spin up enough to make people take notice and for the media to go crazy. I would not think it has enough time to even become a TD. _________________ This post is for discussion purposes only. Please refer to the National Hurricane Center for official information.
