Hey Bob and everyone, Yes sir definitely ready for some football. We have finally settled in NC, sold the house in the cape in 2 months. Yeah. From what I have been reading its getting really bad down there as far as the market goes. This being the latest. http://www.tampabay.com/news/business/r...755706.ece _________________ GO NOLES

Congrat's on your house selling quickly. Definately not a bad market for you! My profile shows that I am a Realtor - 25 yrs - all in the Cape. While this has been the worst market over the past 2 yrs or so things may not be as bleak as they seem. My last couple of sales were among the easiest!
Both buyers had no money down, sellers paid all the buyers closing costs and had their financing approved! Just have to know where to place the buyers for their loans. And for everyone's information,73 homes sold and another 198 went "under contract in the Cape last WEEK!
We have the highest number of foreclosures in the state but that fact has made prices more affordable to more people and the Cape is #1 in the state in sales.
So that's my positive spin on the market now for the real important stuff...
Will BrentFavre be playing in Tampa this year? Would be interesting. Tampa plays Green Bay in Tampa on Sept 28th and this years Super Bowl is in Tampa!

That is positive news but in the meantime I'd like to see the city try to maintain the lawns of the homes that are foreclosed a little better. I've seen some lawns that are just about as tall as the overhang of the roof. I know the city budgeted another 70k but as of right now they only have enough money to get through another month, maybe two. They only have 15k left in the bank. Anyway, back to football, I'd like to see Favre become a Buc. Gruden was one of his first QB coaches when he started his career at GB so I don't see why it wouldn't happen. That would mean Garcia would be out of job but I think Favre is much better anyhow. _________________ Chris

Sorry Bucs Fans...Favre is playing in my neck of the woods this year. Hopefully he can give the Jets the spark they need, but even the NY Times is saying he would probably been a better fit with the Bucs.

Hey Bob, Just returned from week long fishing trip to Missouri, glad to hear things arent as bad as media spins. Looking more and more like a Charley track for Fay. Keep your heads down and good luck to everyone. _________________ GO NOLES
