Icons ?

Ok why does the NWS use different Icons for thunderstorms. For Example

Some sites allow you to customize the icons. Weather underground example

Other sites change icons based on % of precipitation chances as the NWS seems to do.

Well if you look at Friday and Sunday the POP's are both 40 and the icons are different.

One is overcast and the other is partly cloudy. Very Happy
