THUNDERSTORMS...MOVING EAST AT 55 MPH...WILL AFFECT THE MENTIONED

FORT OGDEN AND ARCADIA

GUSTY WINDS UP TO 40 MPH WILL OCCUR. FREQUENT LIGHTNING IS EXPECTED.

A PRELIMINARY STORM SURVEY CONDUCTED BY THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRENELEFE IN POLK COUNTY CONCLUDED THAT AN EF1 TORNADO MADE TOUCHDOWN ON MARCH 11.

STRENGTH:EF-1 (ESTIMATED AT 95 MPH)
LOCATION:ABOUT 4.8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HAINES CITY FL
BEGAN: 28.069 LAT -81.559 LON
ENDED: 28.071 LAT -81.536 LON
PATH LENGTH 1.3 MILES
PATH WIDTH: 70 YARDS
FATALITIES: 0 INJURIES: 0 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION... 28 BUILDINGS DAMAGED...8 OF THE BUILDINGS WERE MULTIFAMILY CONDOS. 5 BUILDINGS UNINHABITABLE. ONE BUILDING HAS ROOF/WALL GONE.
