It's been 7 years of consistent and stable operation from our current weather station but it's time for it to retire. The exterior housing is beginning to show signs of UV wear and some of the sensors are starting to slightly drift according to our QA analysis. We will be replacing it with a Davis Vantage Pro 2 6153 with a 24 hour aspirated fan. The UV sensor will be transferred from our original station to the new station as it is still in excellent condition. We should be receiving it early next week and it will take approximately 1 day to deinstall the old station and mount the replacement. We will keep you updated when it is final and complete. Below is a sample picture of what the new station looks like.

The picture seemsto be in a western state. So the new Cape Weather center is located in Idaho ? Just remember to install an anti bird nesting device on the rain gauge! Hope all is well.

Not yet. It's out for delivery and depending on what time it arrives will determine if it gets installed today. _________________ Chris
