looking quite anemic and drunk now. maybe the splitting this in two and it reemerging on the east side is happening as the previous gfs models have shown yesterday

Lou.........Questions..........What's the difference between a gale center, remnant low and Debby? All are void of any convection around the COC. Debby has a closed low COC but not experiencing any wind shear (I don't think). What makes her a Tropical storm Is it the barometric pressure & wind field seems like the same as a gale center to me. Why can't Debby generate any convection Is there dry air wrapping in?

Dry air and windshear have been the problem causing most of the deep convection to die off. Debby is a tropical storm because it's still a warm core sytem and has tropical storm force winds. _________________ LOU
