Well, I'm convinced at this point that we are going to see our beneficial rains finally hit us here in the Cape this afternoon. These overrunning scenarios usually result in widespread coverage, so our chances of missing out on this one are almost nil. I am quite confident that most areas in Charlotte, Lee and Collier County will see upwards of an inch or more by this time tomorrow. Fingers crossed, of course.

Looks like the shear around this area is minimal and the water is still quite warm. Certainly better conditions than what 90L is fighting. Very interesting

A 1008 MB Low has been applied to the area south of Cuba in the northwest Carib. _________________ This post is for discussion purposes only. Please refer to the National Hurricane Center for official information.
Some models show it moving to just off the Yucatan Pen in about 72hrs.
Can we expect this low to eventually move NW or run up along the stationary/warm front and head more in our direction?

It should sit down there for a few days and things will get interesting when 90L arrives at that location in about 48 hours. NHC has scheduled recon for 90L on Sunday.
