Looks like a close call for our area Sad ; the latest 00Z models (CONU in particular) track this girl just over the tip of Cape, which would be a worst case scenario for the East Cape, pushing all the water into the Caloosahatchee, but hopefully the GFDI model turns out to be more precise; it sure would affect a much less populated area

The Board of County Commissioners has declared a 7-day State of Local Emergency for Lee County. The Lee County Emergency Operations Center currently remains at Level 3 (Monitoring), operating with extended hours and will go to Level 2 (Partial Activation) tomorrow morning at 7 AM. Next advisory will be issued by 8 AM tomorrow.
