A place for all your weather / storm chase piccies. Very Happy

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie to this site, I do not live in Florida although, the area I live in is known as the 'Florida of Australia' similarly has numerous voilent electrical storms for 5 months of the year during summer. I'm very interested in Florida's storms as I am a bit of a 'lightning addict' and hope to go there in the next couple of years during the summer months to capture some photos.

Here is a couple of piccies (clickable thumbnails) from chases around Darwin in the Northern Territory, hope you like Smile

Thanks you for the wonderful comments! Smile

I miss the wet, dry as a bone here now until October Sad

I've organised a chase with some of my friends to chase 'Hector the Convector' in Oct/Nov, a frequently occuring MCC on the Tiwi Islands just north of us..

I'm planning a trip to FL for 8 weeks around June/July in 2009.. my friend who works at the airport may help me out too Wink
I bet I'll see some stunning stuff Very Happy

I can't wait!

at the moment I'm not sure where I'll be based, may stay at several places.
I'd love to chase thunderstorms particularly on the west coast and central inland areas from Gainesville in the north, through Tampa and south to Naples Smile
Any 'off-storm' moments will be great for fishing and taking in the sights Wink
