I was spending the day at Venice Beach today and 'lo and behold at 3 PM I spotted my first ever waterspout/tornado in my life. The spout was around 5-7 miles offshore. I called the NWS to report it and they issued the marine warning. However I originally thought I had brought my digital camera along with me. I FORGOT IT. $%^$%^5@$%$. Excuse the language. I had a chance to post something really nice and I didnt have the lens with me.
Glad you got to see your first waterspout Mike. They are really cool to watch. Hopefully it didn't make landfall and create any damage but the report makes me think things were safe. This must have been you along with many others.

Not to change the subject but I received an email today asking about a tornado in Cape Coral around the 24th or 25th of June. Does anybody remember hearing about this? I don't recall anything happening on those two days but if somebody remembers feel free to chime in.. _________________ Chris
