Did anybody make the fireworks show last night? If so, how was it? We weren't able to attend.

Had 2 different firework show's up here in the Bay area. Tons of lightning from storms that were 10-20 miles away half hour before the manmade stuff. Was getting nervous that the storms were actually as close as 5 miles from us when they started the manmade stuff. Was getting ready to be rained on but they just rained themselves out quite quickly before they entered the bay.

I know you were asking about the CC fireworks which I missed, but...

We went to the Rays game and the return trip was amazing. We stopped along the base of the bridge and simultaneously watched the shows over the bridge, in St. Pete and far away in Tampa. For an even more dramatic backdrop, we had a very active storm in a holding pattern just inland. It was a truly beautiful evening.

We ate at Mambos on Del Prado, and put out our chairs in the parking lot. A very impressive display that got started a little late because of a shower earlier. It was better/= to last year. Many people there, too.

We took our boat over to Matlacha area & saw several awesome light shows - most manmade, some not Laughing One time I don't miss the hills up north, you can see forever down here!

8-10 of us went out to the river on my buddies boat and watched Fort Myers and Cape Coral firework shows. Cape Coral did much better than last year and it was better than Fort Myers' show.

I was much impressad and more that I had expected after CC having the reputation of messing up fireworks!
