Some rain for Monday as a cold front passes and then it will be cool the rest of the week.. Low to mid 70s during the day and mid 50s at night.. Time to turn off the a/c and save some $$$ again.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Southeast wind around 8 mph.

Monday: Isolated showers, then scattered showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. Southeast wind 7 to 17 mph becoming west southwest. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Monday Night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. West northwest wind between 9 and 11 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73. Northwest wind between 9 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 54. North northwest wind between 7 and 10 mph.

COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO PROGRESS EAST OVERNIGHT WITH CLOUDS
AND A FEW SHOWERS MOVING INTO THE COASTAL WATERS AND ONSHORE FROM
AROUND THE SARASOTA AREA NORTHWARD. SHOWERS AND POSSIBLY A
THUNDERSTORM OR TWO WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION DURING MONDAY WITH
HIGHEST POPS ACROSS THE NATURE COAST. MUCH COOLER AND DRIER AIR
WILL MOVE IN BEHIND THE FRONT MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY BRINGING AN
END TO MOST OF THE SHOWER ACTIVITY. OVERALL THE CURRENT GRIDS/ZONE
FORECAST LOOK ON TRACK WITH NO EVENING UPDATE PLANNED. &&

VFR CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH 12Z MONDAY AS CLOUDS INCREASE
WITH BASES LOWERING. APPROACHING FRONT BRINGS DETERIORATING
CONDITIONS MONDAY WITH VICINITY SHRA/TSRA AND SOME TEMPO MVFR
TSRA...STARTING AROUND 12Z IN THE NORTH AND 15Z IN THE SOUTH.
ANTICIPATE MVFR CEILINGS THROUGH THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON.
SOUTHEAST WINDS SHIFT TO SOUTH AND BECOME GUSTY MONDAY MORNING AND
CONTINUE TO SHIFT TO WESTERLY DURING THE AFTERNOON.
