What about a flare up way south at 8 degrees N / 47 W? No mention of this but at this time of the season everything is suspect.

WIND SHEAR IS NON EXISTANT. 5-10mph. What can interfere with this system? Very low latitude but these are the types that can bite us in the a....

Isnt that ITCZ? Too far south to feel corialis affect? Is it trying to break away?
Looks like our next player is SW Carribean. I believe CC has mentioned this. The models are picking up on something down there.

Yep, it's attached to the ITCZ and development will only take place if a low develops and breaks free of the ITCZ.

This is the same system 1st mentioned last week. Has the low indeed separated from the ITCZ and what issues lies ahead for 97L?
