A Super Cell Thunderstorm. Storm Chasers refer to these formations as "Mother Ships".

Here's another view of the same Super Cell showing what appears to be a Corona Discharge at the telephone pole and just to the right of the pole. That sometimes appears just before a Lightning strike.

This is an example of how much Hail a Super Cell can dump on a location. The location is Colorado, June 8, 2014.

I drag these two pictures out of hibernation every few years as a reminder to those that may want to go outside during a Hurricane to "experience" the wind. Not a good idea.

Definitely not a good idea! Flying debris like this will hurt if not kill you. I remember a porta john flying by my house during Charley. Scary stuff.
