I'm not exactly sure where but my guess would be in Key West. Heres the link and a clip from it.

http://www.usatoday.com/weather/resourc...dity_x.htm

Quote:
Houston's most humid months are July and August when the average dew point is 72 degrees. The highest average dew point I found in Texas was Corpus Christi with 74 in July and August.

Key West easily beats that with an average dewpoint of 75 in August and 74 in June, July and September. Orlando, which probably introduces more people from other parts of the country to Florida's humidity than any other place, has an average dewpoint of 73 in August. In looking through average dew points for places in Florida, I didn't find a single one that didn't average a dewpoint above 70 degrees for at least two months of the year.

I know I'm not answering your question, but I was most surprised during my six years in central Minnesota to find that dewpoints in the upper 70s and low 80s occurred a few times each summer. During one heat wave, I believe it was in 2001, the dewpoint was 82 degrees as far north as St. Cloud. I believe there was an 84 reading that year in the Twin Cities.

Conversely, the highest dewpoint reading I've ever recorded at any of my six automated stations down here is 78.6. But that's only been over the past two years.

The dew point has been measured on the shore of Ethiopia, the area is now part of Eritrea, at 94°F. The highest known dew point temperature in the world. The relative humidity with a temperature of 115°F and a dew point of 94°F is 54%

It did often feel to me in Cape Coral during July the humidity was 101% Laughing I would just like to see the mass casualty article from Texas after thousands apparently died as the dewpoint of 95 created a heat index of 140-150 or so..........
